The following projects showcases several digital product concepts and designs pitched to Jio's leadership. These projects, developed from the ground up, represent opportunities to innovate with current design trends. While some progressed into live applications, others were paused due to shifting priorities. The following screens provide a representative overview of each project.
McDonalds Party
Spearheaded the design of McDonald's Party, a multi-platform virtual event leveraging JioMeet/JioEvents and Jio 5G. This innovative platform connected global attendees across all major devices, addressing FOMO and integrating food ordering for revenue growth. I also managed user/UI testing and bug reporting for a flawless experience. This key pitch showcased 5G's impact on virtual events.

JioSpace
Unlike JioMeet and competitors, JioSpace offers immersive 2D virtual environments without VR. Users can navigate and interact in virtual spaces for diverse events (celebrations, gatherings). Features include stages, rooms, virtual objects, and potential gaming integration. Fills a unique Indian market gap. Example: McDonald's Party extended in-person celebrations online, allowing remote attendees to participate fully and order food, tackling FOMO.

Virgin Groups
At Jio, I collaborated with my teammate on the UX design for Virgin Mobiles' upcoming Dubai super app. This ambitious project includes purchasing, loyalty, and rich communication features (chat, media, calls).

JioClassroom
JioClassroom, a sister product of JioMeet, is a comprehensive education platform streamlining course delivery, interaction, and assessments for in-person/virtual learners. Key features: class recording, attendance, resource sharing, and performance feedback. Key clients include Embibe, IIT Madras, Parul University, Christ College, Digii, and MyClassAdmin. Development prioritized client-requested upgrades and features for JioMeet (including Supreme Court).

JioMeet+
Driving innovation beyond JioMeet, JioMeet+ introduces AI-powered features and improvements across web, desktop, and mobile, significantly elevating the user experience with intelligent meeting scheduling and more. In anticipation of the upcoming product launch and to maximize its impact, the visual aspects of JioMeet+ are strategically being kept under wraps. Design ownership goes to Jinal Mehta and Sushmita Mandal. Their expertise was key to this project, and I highly recommend reaching out.

In my 5 years as a designer at Jio, I collaborated with these key clients and departments on over 20 projects across user, business, and internal domains. My designs spanned feature phones, web, desktop, mobile, and smart TV, including design systems, subscriptions, dashboards, data visualization, emailers, banners, CMS, games, chatbots, messaging/video calling, STB, and admin portals, across various OS and web-first approaches.
